Wine:

The Cordon Rouge is an evocative champagne, both delicate and intense. The power of the Pinot Noir grapes, the finesse of the Chardonnay and the fruitiness of the Milling grapes form a trio of formidable efficiency, with a subtle balance between freshness and intensity. The perfect aperitif champagne to be served around 10-12°.

Vinification:

Manual harvest, elaboration from 25% to 30% of reserve wines as well as an expedition liqueur dosed at 8 grams per liter, aged in cellars for 26 months.

Color:

Pale yellow with silver reflections and abundant effervescence.

Nose:

Aromas of fresh fruits followed by notes of vanilla and milk caramel.

Palate:

Fresh and taut with a beautiful fruit. It is a refined and delicate champagne which will charm you by the harmony of its flavors and its easy and seductive style.

Temperature:

Serve between 10 and 12°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Aperitif, salmon eggs and cream blinis, fresh goat cheese canapés with chives.

Since 1876, Cordon Rouge has been the emblem of Maison Mumm. Crafted from more than 100 crus, it is recognizable by its famous red silk ribbon, paying tribute to the "Grand Cordon" of the Legion of Honor. A legendary cuvée that, year after year, remains one of the essentials of Champagne.
