Wine:

R de Ruinart is the Maison's signature cuvée and a phenomenal success. Crafted from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir sourced from top terroirs, it offers seductive fruity notes, lively effervescence, and an appealing texture on the palate. This is a harmonious champagne with undeniable indulgent charm. Its distinctive, curvaceous bottle has become iconic, a perfect representation of the elegance and artistry of Champagne.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, alcoholic fermentation in thermoregulated stainless steel tanks, complete malolactic fermentation. Blend of 40 to 50 vintages and composed of 20 to 30% reserve wine. Aged for 2 to 3 years.
Dosage : 7g/l

Color:

Golden yellow, bright.

Nose:

Scents marked by a subtle fruity notes of apple and apricot but also hazelnut, fresh almond, touches of elderflower and coriander seeds.

Palate:

Fresh and delicate, this wine offers a palate of harmonious roundness and persistence through notes of yellow and stone fruits. The finish reminds us of the presence of Chardonnay.

Temperature:

Serve between 8 and 10°C.

Aperitif, poached oysters, scallops a la plancha, sole meunière, Chaource, Langres, cheeses (Saint Nectaire - Crottin de Chavignol)
