Wine:

The 2023 Red Pic Saint-Loup delivers immediate charm and enjoyment. Its youthful nose bursts with fresh, vibrant aromas of dark berries and a subtle smoky hint. On the palate, it offers a dense, full-bodied texture with flavors of black fruit coulis and wild blueberries. Perfectly suited for pairing with roasted meats, duck breast, or a beef roast, this wine also shows great potential to age gracefully over the next three to five years. Rated 94/100 by the Selection Committee.

Vinification:

Hand harvested in crates. Cold pre-fermentation maceration, 30-day vatting period. Aged for 12 months, rotating between barrels and stainless steel vats.

Color:

Bright carmine red with violet highlights.

Nose:

Fresh aromas of black fruit coulis, wild blueberries and a hint of smoke.

Palate:

A dense wine with a generous structure and fine, delicate tannins, all leading to a balanced and refreshing finish.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C.
