Wine:
The 2022 Red Chinon Vieilles Vignes is a concentrated, well-ripened expression of Cabernet Franc that benefits from at least an hour of decanting to fully reveal its aromas. Notes of black fruit and a hint of graphite are complemented by a subtle touch of oak, adding depth and complexity. On the palate, it shows impressive structure with no signs of over-ripeness, despite the warmth of the vintage. The wine is dense and refined, driven by pronounced tannins that promise excellent aging potential. Its power is balanced by fresh acidity, leading to a long, vibrant finish. This is a wine built for the cellar, with a 10-year horizon ahead. Rated 94/100 by the Selection Committee and 95/100 by the RVF Guide.Vinification:
