Wine:

Inspired by Bordeaux, the Mendoza Gran Enemigo Gualtallary Single Vineyard Red 2020 is the estate's signature cuvée. With 85% Cabernet Franc and 15% Malbec planted on limestone soils at nearly 1,500 meters altitude, this wine delivers both power and complexity, while maintaining remarkable freshness and elegance. Parker's Guide calls it "phenomenal" and rates it 99/100. This wine is fresh, layered, and perfectly balanced, without any excessive ripeness or heat. Its concentrated and intense character brings out beautifully defined notes of dried herbs and dark fruits, with a smooth texture and great tension. The aging potential is immense! Vinification:

The vines are located at an altitude of 1470 metres. The grapes are harvested 5 times, to ensure that they are perfectly ripe. A month and a half elapses between the first and last harvests. Traditional vinification. Aged for 15 months in old tuns over 100 years old.

Intense, brilliant ruby red.

Nose:

Bold aromas of dark and red fruits are beautifully intertwined with a touch of spice.

Palate:

This distinctive cuvée delivers a wine of impressive depth, followed by a long, majestic finish.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C.
