Wine:

The 2020 Red Fronsac delivers on all these promises. A nose of great purity, expressing the perfect maturity of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, all in an elegant profile. The wine's delicate texture and velvety tannins win us over once again. It is for us one of the best and undeniable price-pleasure ratio of Bordeaux in this mythical vintage.

Vinification:

Hand harvested by plot. Vinification by plot, long and gentle maceration to aging elegance and freshness. Maturation in barrels, 30% of which are new and 70% of one wine.

Color:

Intense and brilliant red, some carmine reflections.

Nose:

Aromas of black fruits mixed with hints of graphite and some accents of fresh black truffle.

Palate:

Pure and precise, with a very good balance, this wine offers a concentrated, ripe and fresh palate with a velvety texture

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Grilled beef flank steak, ceps à la bordelaise, rack of lamb in a herb crust, roast capon with figs.
