Wine:

The 2022 Red Côte-Rôtie La Dédicace is a powerful, finely sculpted wine, with a ripe, dense profile built for aging. Layers of spice, smoke, black tea, violet, and pepper weave seamlessly into its concentrated, generous structure. Aged for nearly two years in barrels, the wine gains depth and complexity, while the 60% whole-cluster fermentation preserves its freshness and tension. While already impressive, this cuvée will benefit from further cellaring to fully reveal its potential. Rated 94/100 by Parker.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. 40% de-stemming and 60% whole grapes. Alcoholic fermentation and maceration for 3 to 4 weeks in stainless steel vats, manual punching down and pumping over, indigenous yeasts. Malolactic fermentation and 20 months ageing in oak barrels.

Color:

Intense red, almost black, with purple reflections.

Nose:

Aromas of violets mixed with peppery and spicy notes and smoky bacon-like accents.

Palate:

Rich and concentrated, with beautifully ripe fruit, this cuvée delivers a powerful, dense, and generous profile. Supported by oak, it promises impressive aging potential.

Temperature:

Decant and serve between 14 and 16°C in a large glass.

Food and wine pairing:

Grilled duck breast with pepper, slow-cooked leg of lamb, mature cheeses.

From today until 2035 and beyond for enthusiasts.
