Wine:

True to the Northern Rhône Valley style, the 2023 White Crozes-Hermitage On the Rhône Again showcases a beautifully expressive nose with honeyed and floral aromas, a signature of the Marsanne that leads the blend. On the palate, it’s fresh and lively, with well-ripened fruit and a refined bitterness that adds length and finesse. This is an elegant, well-crafted wine, ready to enjoy over the next 3 to 5 years, offering pure fruit, delicate floral notes, and perfectly restrained aging. Rated 92/100 by our Selection Committee.

Vinification:

Hand harvested from two plots in the commune of Mercurol. After pressing, severe settling, slow alcoholic fermentation at low temperature, complete malolactic fermentation. Aged on lees for 10 months in barrels with 10% new wood.

Golden, with a beautiful intensity, brilliant.

Nose:

Honeyed notes mixed with touches of white flowers and sweet-smelling alyssum.

Palate:

Fresh and vibrant, with ripe stone fruit and citrus. This wine is well-balanced, featuring delicate floral aromas, refined bitterness, and subtle aging.

Temperature:

Serve between 10 and 12°C.

Quenelles de brochet sauce Nantua, blanquette de veau, volaille fermière rôtie.

Cellar aging:

From today until 2029.
