Wine:

R de Ruinart is the Maison's signature cuvée and a phenomenal success. Crafted from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir sourced from top terroirs, it offers seductive fruity notes, lively effervescence, and an appealing texture on the palate. This is a harmonious champagne with undeniable indulgent charm. Its distinctive, curvaceous bottle has become iconic, a perfect representation of the elegance and artistry of Champagne.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, alcoholic fermentation in thermoregulated stainless steel tanks, complete malolactic fermentation. Blend of 40 to 50 vintages and composed of 20 to 30% reserve wine. Aged for 2 to 3 years.
Dosage : 7g/l

Color:

Golden yellow, bright.

Nose:

Aromatic notes highlighted by delicate hints of reinette apple and apricot, accompanied by hazelnut, fresh almond, elderflower, and coriander seed. These evolve into rich, intense aromas of brioche and biscuits, adding depth and complexity.

Palate:

Fresh yet showcasing mature aromas, this cuvée reveals a harmonious roundness on the palate, with lingering notes of yellow fruits and stone fruit. The finish elegantly highlights the presence of Chardonnay, leaving a refined impression.

Temperature:

Serve between 8 and 10°C.

Aperitif, poached oysters, scallops a la plancha, sole meunière, Chaource, Langres, cheeses (Saint Nectaire - Crottin de Chavignol)
