Leading figure in Spanish viticulture, Jorge Monzon has acquired a solid experience through working with some of the world’s greatest stars, such as Romanée Conti and Vega Sicilia. On his Dominio del Aguila vineyard, which is organically farmed and biodynamically managed, he has excelled for over ten years in the production of wines of great intensity that have caught the attention of wine critics from around the world.

Rated 97/100 Parker and 18/20 by our Selection Committee, the 2018 Red Ribera del Duero Reserva is the estate's most famous wine, that explodes all standards. Concentrated, intense, served by notes of black fruits, resin, luxurious oak, and a concentrated and deep palate, with tight but prominent tannins, it profiles a phenomenal wine made for aging. A pure and fresh wine, of very high density, to be opened only in 5 or 6 years, or to be decanted imperatively before serving. |

Hand harvested. The wine is vinified in whole bunches, crushed according to tradition and aged for 29 months in French oak barrels. As these are very old Tempranillo vines, we also find other local red or white varieties such as Blanca del Pais, Garnacha, Bobal, Grey Tempranillo... Certified organic wine. |
