The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Now counted among Burgundy’s legends and awarded 2 stars by the French wine guide RVF, Domaine Bruno Colin is a benchmark name in Chassagne-Montrachet. Since 2004, this exceptional winemaker has followed a flawless path, embracing organic farming and crafting a pure, precise, and elegant vision of Burgundian Chardonnay.

With 9 impeccably maintained hectares spread across Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, and Saint-Aubin, the estate produces wines that are sharp, refined, and masterfully vinified, with remarkable balance between aging and tension.

Both the whites and reds impress with their precision, texture, and deep connection to their terroir, standing as some of the finest expressions of the region.
Wine A rare gem from just 0.24 hectares of old vines, the 2022 Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru La Boudriotte White, which could also bear the Morgeot designation, is an exceptional expression of Chardonnay. Precise and perfectly balanced, it combines finesse and power with vibrant, tangy flavours and a subtle tannic grip from the ageing process. This Premier Cru offers impressive ageing potential, delivering a noble sense of structure and firmness. Rated 93/100 by RVF, it’s a standout wine for serious enthusiasts.
Vinification Hand harvested. Aged for 12 months in 350-litre barrels, 15-20% of which are new, then 4-6 months in vats before bottling.
Vines on 0.24 ha, on the ‘Champs Jeandreau’ plot, planted in 1951 and 1977, organically grown (without certification).
