The estate and the wine |
A Grand Cru Classé from Pauillac, Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste is renowned for its consistency, fullness, and the spicy character of its wines. The exceptional vinosity of the cru is attributed to its old Cabernet Sauvignon vines, and its straightforward and honest style develops a magnificent softness with aging. |

The 2018 red Pauillac Lacoste-Borie showcases the smoothness and allure characteristic of the estate's wines. Ripe black fruit, particularly notes of blackcurrant and juicy cherry, is beautifully woven into a rich yet balanced structure. It's simultaneously firm and velvety, framed by fine tannins, with a deliciously appealing fruity core, thanks to a significant proportion of Merlot in the blend. A fresh finish beautifully rounds off the tasting experience! This flavorful wine is ready to drink now or can be cellared for another 4 to 5 years. |
