A unique partnership between Ventealapropriete.com and Castello di Verduno!
A historic estate highly esteemed by Piedmont enthusiasts, Castello di Verduno has been a family-run treasure for over a century. With unwavering dedication to traditional methods, including extended aging in large oak casks, the estate preserves the region’s winemaking heritage while crafting exceptional wines. For the first time, Ventealapropriete.com has joined forces with Castello di Verduno to present a Barbaresco from the cru’s finest terroirs.
In the 18th century, Italy’s royal Savoy family visited the estate to experiment with modernizing Nebbiolo-based wines. Today, Castello di Verduno is in the hands of the Burlotto family, who uphold these time-honored traditions. From their enviable position on Piedmont’s finest terroirs, including the iconic Barolo and Barbaresco, their 12 hectares produce wines of extraordinary pedigree, exemplifying the elegance of Italian winemaking with long aging in Austrian oak casks. |
