The estate and the wine |

Founded in 2016, Côtes et Climats Pierre Mayeul crafts Burgundies with a strong sense of identity and an unwavering commitment to quality. Frédéric Hirault, Matthieu Bouchard, and Ludivine Griveau meticulously select the finest grapes, guided by deep technical expertise and an intimate knowledge of Burgundy’s greatest terroirs.
Distinctive character, limited volumes, and prestigious vineyards—a seemingly simple formula, yet one executed with absolute precision and no compromises. At the heart of this vision is Ludivine Griveau, whose experience and intuition drive the project with the same high standards she has upheld throughout her career. |

The 2020 Red Beaune Premier Cru Les Sizies is a layered, age-worthy wine with a generous, approachable character. Its dense yet juicy tannic structure remains fresh and elegant, revealing notes of black and red berries, spices, and dark chocolate. The solid mid-palate hints at excellent aging potential, while the firm tannins will benefit from decanting if enjoyed young. A distinguished Premier Cru that fully lives up to its pedigree! |
