The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine A vineyard estate, contemporary art center, and luxury complex, Château La Coste is a premier destination in Provence. Set in an enchanting landscape, the site has been entirely transformed over the past twenty years, featuring designs by some of the world's greatest architects! Jean Nouvel, Oscar Niemeyer, Tadao Ando, Frank Gehry, and Renzo Piano have all contributed to this unique setting.

On the vineyard side, the estate produces iconic cuvées, all characterized by great depth and intensity. Located near Aix-en-Provence, it spans 200 hectares of picturesque nature, blending vineyards, cypress trees, parasol pines, olive trees, and oaks. Organic farming and biodynamic principles are at work here.

The modern, meticulously detailed vision of its owner and patron Patrick McKillen, combined with the ambitious resources of the estate (luxury hotel, spa, cultural center, and restaurants, including a Michelin-starred one by Hélène Darroze), has led to the creation of these highly precise cuvées that are celebrated worldwide.
Wine We can't let summer pass without it! The 2023 Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence Rosé is a perfect example of a fresh rosé with a lovely tangy finish, featuring notes of strawberry and gariguette. This lively and spirited rosé is perfect for small fried dishes, grilled meats, or fish terrines.
Vinification Hand harvested (50%) and mechanically harvested (50%). Direct pressing, partly whole grapes, low-temperature fermentation. Blended and aged in stainless steel tanks on fine lees. Wine made from Demeter-certified grapes.

Certified organic wine.
