Wine Rated 94/100 by our Selection Committee, the 2016 Red Côtes de Bordeaux Castillon is a model of what makes Bordeaux great. The nose opens on aromas of black fruits such as blackberry, plum, and a touch of delicate spices. The palate is splendid, echoing these perfumes in style, with present yet smooth tannins. A  remarkable bottle which deserves a light decanting before serving, that will pair beautifully with a piece of beef or a game terrine.
Vinification Hand harvested. De-stemming, no crushing. Fermentation for 20 days and maceration for 15 days with temperature control at 30° in wooden and concrete vats.
