The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Founded in 2009 on the slopes of Vergisson and Davayé, Domaine David Bienfait embodies the passion and dedication of this young winemaker. With just 6 hectares, he brings out the full beauty of southern Burgundy, producing wines from Pouilly, Saint-Véran, and Mâcon-Villages.
Wine From young vines beautifully exposed to views of Mont Blanc, the 2023 White Mâcon-Villages showcases lovely ripeness and the freshness of a skillfully crafted Chardonnay, untouched by oak. Subtle floral and mineral notes create a fresh, finely etched profile with a touch of bright acidity, making it a delight to enjoy right now. A prime example of a well-balanced Mâcon-Villages, perfect with seafood or as an aperitif. Rated 92/100 by the Selection Committee.
Vinification Vinification in vats, temperature-controlled fermentation at low temperature.
