The estate and the wine A true icon of Condrieu, Domaine Georges Vernay stands at the pinnacle of the Rhône Valley, earning the highest accolades and top scores from critics. Some even compare its wines to the legendary Romanée-Conti or Ausone—a testament to their extraordinary quality.

Crafted in a pristine natural setting, these wines capture the full brilliance of Condrieu’s breathtaking hillside terroirs, always striving for the utmost finesse.

For several vintages now, we have forged an exclusive partnership with the estate, securing this special cuvée for our most loyal members.
Wine The 2023 White Condrieu La Croix de l’Oiseau is an exclusive cuvée crafted in close collaboration with the estate, with every detail meticulously selected to match our vision of perfection. This vintage shines with vibrant freshness, revealing beautifully ripe aromas of apricot and bergamot. On the palate, it’s rich and generous, with a refined touch of oak that enhances the wine’s depth and texture without overpowering its natural fruit. The oak influence will continue to soften over time, adding even more complexity. A truly seductive wine, perfect as an elegant aperitif or paired with fish and white meats. Rated 93/100 by our Selection Committee.
Vinification Hand harvested, vines maintained manually, treatments with organic products (not certified). Vinification of whole grapes, fermentation in barrels and temperature-controlled wooden vats. Aged on delicate lees for 8 months in barrels and wooden vats.
