The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Recognized with 3 stars by the Revue du Vin de France, Domaine Dirler-Cadé has truly established itself as a master of Alsace. Since 1998, Ludivine and Jean Dirler have nurtured their biodynamic vineyard with dedication and passion, creating outstanding cuvées. Regardless of the grape variety, the precision of their wines is evident: an impressive range of exceptional dry whites, culminating in the magnificent grand cru expressions of Spiegel, Saering, Kessler, and Kitterlé.
Wine From sandstone terroirs, the 2022 white Alsace Mémoire pays tribute to the estate's founder with a unique blend of Chasselas, Pinot Blanc, Sylvaner, Riesling, Gewurztraminer, and Muscat Ottonel. Fermented in stainless steel tanks and century-old oak foudres, and aged on its lees, this complex and refined white wine offers impressive volume and energy. Its lovely fruity profile, centered around orchard fruits, extends into a precise, infused, and vibrant structure. Fresh, light, and highly drinkable, it pairs beautifully with tarte flambée, cooked fish, or cheeses. Rated 92/100 by the Selection Committee.
Vinification Hand harvested from vines around 32 years old. Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel vats and century-old tuns. Aged on lees for 11 months.
