The estate and the wine |

|
A true Chablis treasure, Estate des Malandes has captivated our Selection Committee! Discovered last year during a visit to Burgundy, this estate has everything to impress: organic farming, impeccable quality, and fair pricing.
The Marchive-Rottiers family is dedicated to crafting precise, pure, and expressive Chablis, each reflecting its unique terroir. No unnecessary intervention—just proven techniques and carefully managed aging in barrels and demi-muids (500L) to refine and elevate these wines for long-term aging. |

From vines averaging over 50 years old and aged in demi-muids with 20% new oak, the 2022 White Chablis Grand Cru Vaudésir unfolds with remarkable depth, ripeness, and precision. This is a superb, fresh, and pure wine, driven by vibrant minerality and striking a perfect balance between concentration and finesse. A grand cru made for the table, it pairs beautifully with fine fish dishes or aged cheeses. Rated 95/100 by the Selection Committee. |
