Philippe Alliet is a model winemaker, awarded 2 stars in the RVF Green Guide. He produces long-macerated red wines, dazzling with strong flavors of fruit and maturity. These sought-after wines have become benchmarks in Chinon and, in recent vintages, have shown an ever-renewed naturalness of expression.
The beautiful Cravant hillsides contribute greatly to this: these magical terroirs bear a Cabernet Franc that is enchanting in its precision and flavor, easily rivaling the greatest expressions of Bordeaux. |

Made from gravelly areas and aged without the use of wood, the 2020 Red Chinon has a crisp, fruity palate full of freshness. Without excessive richness or power, this Chinon is dashing and straightforward, with fine and smooth tannins. All the finest expression of a great Cabernet is concentrated here. A wine that perfectly matches the ambition of the estate. Reserved for VIPs, only on allocation and in limited quantities. |
