The estate and the wine |
Il Marroneto is a living legend — one of Italy's most iconic estates, admired by wine enthusiasts around the world. Over the past 40 years, the Mori family has elevated it to the top tier of global wine producers, joining the elite circle of just five Italian wines to receive a perfect 100/100 score from Parker.
The estate’s extraordinary Brunello di Montalcino wines are born from 6 hectares of vineyards planted by Giuseppe Mori in 1975. Located at over 400 meters on the slopes of Montalcino, this prime terroir allows for the production of some of the most elegant and aromatic expressions of Sangiovese. With natural farming, low yields, and traditional aging in large wooden casks, Il Marroneto captures the purest, most authentic essence of this noble grape. |

Aged for 41 months in wood, the 2018 Red Brunello di Montalcino Madonna delle Grazie perfectly balances power and finesse. Here, Sangiovese reveals its most elegant expression, with fruit aromas that are both vibrant and velvety—immediately appealing and remarkably indulgent for its youth. At the same time, this wine promises exceptional aging potential, supported by lively freshness, a beautifully silky texture, and a refined, complex character. A remarkable creation from Marroneto, a name that remains at the pinnacle of Italian viticulture. Rated 97/100 by Parker. |
