The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine A visionary winemaker, Benoît Eschard crafts elegant and refined wines at Domaine Jeannin-Naltet, drawing on an invaluable heritage of vines in Mercurey Premier Cru.

Meticulous and perfectionist by nature, he succeeded his uncle and has since brought about a complete transformation of the estate. Awarded 2 stars by the RVF Guide (Revue du Vin de France, a prestigious French wine guide), he masterfully balances finesse and power in his impeccably crafted cuvées.
Wine The 2022 Red Mercurey Premier Cru Monopole Clos des Grands Voyens offers one of the most mineral-driven expressions of Mercurey, embodying Pinot Noir at its purest. The wine opens with an elegant, floral nose, revealing aromas of rose and raspberry. On the palate, its refined structure is complemented by subtle toasted notes from oak aging, which will integrate beautifully with time. This Premier Cru promises to reward patience, evolving gracefully in the cellar. Rated 94/100 by the Selection Committee.
Vinification Hand harvested. The vines are on average 42 years old. Vatting for 15 to 20 days, beginning with pre-fermentation cold maceration, with regular punching down and pumping over. Aged for 12 months in oak barrels, 30% of which are new.
