A visionary winemaker, Benoît Eschard crafts elegant and refined wines at Domaine Jeannin-Naltet, drawing on an invaluable heritage of vines in Mercurey Premier Cru.
Meticulous and perfectionist by nature, he succeeded his uncle and has since brought about a complete transformation of the estate. Awarded 2 stars by the RVF Guide (Revue du Vin de France, a prestigious French wine guide), he masterfully balances finesse and power in his impeccably crafted cuvées. |

The 2022 Red Mercurey Premier Cru Monopole Clos des Grands Voyens offers one of the most mineral-driven expressions of Mercurey, embodying Pinot Noir at its purest. Hand harvested. The vines are on average 42 years old. Vatting for 15 to 20 days, beginning with pre-fermentation cold maceration, with regular punching down and pumping over. Aged for 12 months in oak barrels, 30% of which are new. |
