When properly opened, the 2021 White Chablis 1er Cru Montmains provides a delightful and true representation of Chablis. The aroma combines freshness with beautiful floral and honeyed notes, complemented by always appreciated restrained aging. The profile continues in this fine and expressive register, with beautiful tension, ripe and precise juice, intensely mineral, all with citrus highlights, especially on the finish. It's a very fine 1er Cru with an aging potential that will easily exceed 8 to 10 years, given its concentration and balance. A favorite of the Selection Committee, rated 94/100. |
