The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Classified as a Grand Cru Classé of Saint-Emilion and splendidly situated on the limestone plateau of the appellation, Château Laroque's esteemed position is a testament to its exceptional terroir and unwavering commitment to quality.

Although it stands as one of the oldest vineyards in the appellation, a recent transformative evolution has thrust it into the spotlight as one of the most coveted labels in its field.
Wine Here’s a great Bordeaux at perfect maturity — that rare moment when time has polished every edge, leaving only the essentials: balance, harmony, and pure pleasure.

The 2009 Red Château Laroque beautifully captures the character of this outstanding vintage. Its fruit flavours are vibrant, supported by refined development that brings aromas of macerated fruit, balsamic notes, fine woods adding a hint of spice, and a touch of cinnamon. On the palate, it’s silky and smooth, with a noble, polished texture kept lively by an underlying freshness that carries it gracefully.

This is a deep, expressive wine, perfectly ready to enjoy now. It will pair beautifully with truffled poultry, chicken supreme with chestnuts, or simply a generous Sunday lunch.
Vinification Harvested by hand. Vinification in temperature-controlled cement vats. Aged 50% in new barrels and 50% in barrels that have contained one wine.
