Harmonious and precise, this cuvée offers fruity flavors without exuberance, and a restrained woodiness that subtly blends with this fine juice. The liquorice notes on the finish are beautifully balanced. |

Recently acquired by Cos d'Estournel, Château Cos Labory is a discreet Grand Cru Classé—less renowned than its peers but equally compelling in quality. In recent vintages, it has delivered standout wines that can rival the very best in the appellation.
With a terroir of deep gravel soils similar to its illustrious neighbour, Cos Labory deserves close attention. It stands out as one of the finest value-for-money options among Bordeaux’s Grand Cru Classés. |

The 2019 Saint-Estèphe Red wine from Cos Labory is a refined and polished Bordeaux. The nose offers aromas of ripe plum, stone fruits, and a touch of graphite, showcasing excellent ripeness and balance. The palate is smooth and harmonious, with fine, silky tannins and a finish that lingers with hints of liquorice. Already showing beautifully, this wine is ready to enjoy now but has the structure to evolve gracefully for a few more years. Awarded 92+/100 by the Selection Committee, it’s a standout example of the appellation. |
