It’s a "baby Trévallon"! The 2021 Red IGP Alpilles bears a striking resemblance to its famous neighbor, crafted from the same blend of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cinsault. The pure nose offers hints of graphite and a touch of Syrah's signature smokiness. The fleshy, fresh palate reveals a moderate tannic structure, dominated by black fruit flavors with that smoky note lingering through the finish. The aging is particularly well-executed.
