The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Nestled between Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Lirac, and Tavel, Château de Manissy shines as a gem in the southern Rhône, offering thrilling cuvées at wise prices. For over a century, it has been under the care of the Missionaries of the Holy Family and is now biodynamically managed by the skilled Florian André, making it a hotspot for enthusiasts.

In Tavel, the estate crafts deeply colored, long-keeping rosés, rich and intense, diverging from the pale Provencal style. This understated terroir, a remarkable geological layer cake, thus nurtures exceptional gastronomy wines, celebrated by the finest dining tables.
Wine Standing out in the world of Provence rosés, the 2022 Tavel Tête de Cuvée Rosé offers unmatched intensity, aromas, and depth. This intense rosé, with its onion-skin hue, is made from grenache, clairette, and cinsault. This vintage is remarkably fresh, both delicate and pure, featuring notes of stone fruit, sour cherry, and subtle hints of rose. Its refined and infused profile is supported by a precise, tangy framework, well-balanced without being overbearing. An elegantly crafted rosé ready to be enjoyed, perfect for gastronomic pairings. It pairs ideally with chicken skewers with peppers and sun-dried tomatoes. A Committee favorite, rated 93/100.
Vinification Harvested by hand. De-stemming and crushing. Cold maceration for 24 to 48 hours, followed by pressing. Aged in 25Hl tuns for 9 to 12 months.

Certified Biodynamic wine.
