The estate and the wine |
|

A Priorat splendor, Clos Mogador is the work of the Barbier family, who fell in love with this amphitheater plunging into the Siurana River. A fairytale born in 1979, on this land exiled from Catalonia, one of the oldest vineyards on the Peninsula. Altitude, freshness, and varied exposure shape the wines that have become legendary: powerful, majestic red wines and a unique, dazzling white wine.
This mythical estate, cradled by terroirs of schist and quartz, forges wines of extreme finesse, repeatedly awarded the highest Parker scores. |

Perfectly ripe and concentrated, vinified very gently with indigenous yeasts, in contact with the skins, and aged exclusively in 12 hl foudres, the 2019 white Priorat Nelin is a rich, generous white of remarkable beauty. The nose is phenomenal, with Mediterranean aromas of dried herbs, white flowers, and pollen. The material is brilliant, refined, and balanced, offering the best of white Grenache, with great complexity of flavor and, above all, incredible freshness. A vintage of rare balance and sumptuous elegance at this level of richness. Rated 96+/100 by Parker. |
