The estate and the wine |

|
A major player in Brunello di Montalcino, Tenuta Col d’Orcia is one of Tuscany’s most renowned estates. Founded in 1890 on a hill overlooking the Orcia River, it is one of the oldest estates in the village—rich in history and tradition, reflecting the heart of Italy.
Now managed by the Cinzano family, their wines are a testament to the estate's success, sought after by top restaurants and wine lovers worldwide. With nearly 145 hectares of vineyards, it is the largest in the region and a true icon of Montalcino. |

The 2019 Red Brunello di Montalcino shows all the hallmarks of the grape and the appellation, with great aging potential. The nose is perfectly ripe, with pronounced balsamic notes, complemented by hints of dried flowers and spices. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and powerful, with a subtle woody character and tannins that are present yet smooth. A beautiful wine for aging, it will continue to develop over the next 10 years or more. Rated 94/100 by Parker. |
