The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine The Domaine du Père Benoît is a hidden treasure discovered for us by Olivier Poussier. This 10-hectare vineyard, nestled close to the Pont du Gard, is surrounded by natural beauty, creating an enchanting setting for the production of unique cuvées. These wines, made from a blend of various grape varieties, boldly step outside the confines of traditional appellations.

For nearly 20 years, Anne-Sophie Palayer-Bodson and Benoît Bodson have been cultivating their unique approach to winemaking, balancing strictness with gentleness in their organic vineyards.

Awarded 1 star by the RVF Guide, this unusual address is sure to pique the curiosity of wine enthusiasts, who will be drawn to its original approach.
Wine Available in a Magnum format, the 2016 white Vin de France Gavroche masterfully combines Vermentino and Chenin. This duo is intriguing, still youthful with intense, floral, and subtly smoky aromas. The wine's restrained aging process allows the freshness of the grapes to shine through in a lively, invigorating texture that pops on the palate. Its lemony flavors and fine, lasting bitterness make it perfect for enjoying with fried fish or fresh goat cheeses on a slice of toasted country bread drizzled with olive oil. Rated 92/100 by our Committee.
