The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine A model estate with a meteoric rise, Bodegas y Viñedos Pujanza has, in just two decades, secured its place among the most sought-after names in Spain. Located in Laguardia, within Rioja Alavesa, this family-owned estate is the passion project of Carlos San Pedro, a man deeply in love with these exceptional terroirs and determined to translate them into authentic cuvées that honor the region's history and traditions.

His meticulous attention to detail and relentless pursuit of perfection have enabled him to craft wines of exceptional origin, thanks to cutting-edge viticulture focused on the highest quality of grapes.
Wine Born from the highest and latest-ripening parcel in the vineyard, the 2017 Red Rioja Norte offers a unique freshness and tension, with a delightful hedonistic character. The oak aging is well-balanced, supporting a rich, ripe, and concentrated texture with aromas of dark berries and delicate flowers. This is a modern, fresh, and balanced Rioja with a strong structure that promises to age gracefully. Rated 95/100 by Parker.
Vinification Spontaneous fermentation with daily light followed by 12 months maturation in barrels.
