The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Tucked away within the prestigious terroirs of Saint-Émilion’s most renowned Grands Crus Classés, Château Peymouton is a hidden treasure of the appellation.

This discreet estate, historically linked to Château Laroque, boasts a 31-hectare vineyard situated on the elevated plateau of the property. Managed by the same expert team, Peymouton benefits from fine, structured clay and limestone soils, producing wines of exceptional pedigree, defined by their elegance and freshness.
Wine Supported by a ripe and generous vintage, the 2018 Saint-Émilion Grand Cru is showing beautiful evolution with an expressive nose of balsamic notes, graphite, sandalwood, menthol, and spices. On the palate, it delivers well-defined autumnal flavors of undergrowth and blackcurrant, underpinned by precise, well-integrated oak and finely managed tannins. A refined wine ready to be enjoyed now, with the potential to age gracefully over the next decade. Rated 92/100 by our Committee.
Vinification Hand harvested from 1ᵉʳ to 16 October 2018. Vinification in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats; matured in French oak barrels.
