The estate and the wine |

Matias Riccitelli is crafting some of Argentina’s most exciting wines. At the foot of the Andes, over 1,000 meters above sea level, his vineyards have become a benchmark for quality in the region.
A passionate and innovative winemaker, Matias employs manual harvesting, rigorous sorting, and aging in French oak barrels. His wines are celebrated for their elegance, perfectly capturing the finesse of this remarkable terroir.
As the son of Jorge Riccitelli, crowned Winemaker of the Year in 2012 by Wine Enthusiast, it’s tempting to say the next generation is already setting a new standard. |

Unique in its kind, the 2022 white Sémillon comes from an ungrafted vine in the Rio Negro region. The wine fermented in barrels, without new oak, and was then aged in a concrete egg for several months, resulting in a remarkably fresh and energetic substance. Initially, scents of beeswax, fennel, and white flowers emerge, presenting a beautiful classic tone. The ultra-fresh and lively palate offers magnificent volume and great complexity. It's astonishing to see what Sémillon can yield with old vines, limited yields, and careful winemaking. |
