The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine A benchmark of Champagne excellence, Louis Roederer embodies the height of refinement in Champagne craftsmanship. Still family-owned and managed by a direct descendant of its founders, it is one of the few remaining independent houses.

Louis Roederer has long focused on sustainable viticulture, adopting organic farming and gentle practices early on to preserve vineyard heritage and promote genetic diversity. More than half of its 250 hectares are now certified organic, with additional methods inspired by permaculture.

This uncompromising commitment to quality and flavor through innovative practices is explored in-depth in the latest issue of our Racines magazine, which dedicates a feature to this exceptional Champagne house.
Wine Driven by the exceptional Pinot Noirs from Verzy and a concentrated continental vintage, the Roederer Vintage 2015 is an intense Champagne with vibrant aromas of spice and juicy, tangy fruits. Its powerful, dynamic, and concentrated profile is beautifully balanced by a perfect thread of freshness that enhances its vinous character. The classic, finely structured body reveals pure fruit flavors, complemented by a subtle hint of toast. The finish is supported by saline notes, offering a wonderfully open, generous, and elegant experience.
Vinification Hand harvested exclusively from the ‘La Montagne’ vineyard. 34% of the vinification is carried out in oak barrels.
Malolactic fermentation carried out at 24%.
