The estate and the wine |
Château Latour-Martillac is a still family-owned estate praised for its unfailing regularity and style. Its wines only get more beautiful with time and have an incredible depth of flavor and aging potential. A feat recognized by the 1953 Graves Classification in which the Château is listed as one of the few chosen estates to be distinguished in both red and white wines. |

Made from equal parts Sauvignon and Semillon, the 2019 white Pessac-Léognan Lagrave Martillac takes full advantage of this very fine vintage in which heat and freshness were perfectly balanced in the early days of September. The result is an expressive and complex white wine, with aromas of fresh grapes, ripe citrus and verbena. The palate is full-bodied, round, and juicy with a zesty finish. A radiant white wine to be enjoyed today with grilled fish. |
