Best known for its iconic fortified wines, the estate also produces dry wines of remarkable purity and intensity, crafted from an unparalleled collection of old vines.

Under the guidance of Nicolas Raffy, a gifted winemaker, Mas Amiel fully expresses the character of its unique terroirs—steep, schist-laden slopes enriched with limestone, black marl, and granite. With meticulous care, he selects the finest parcels and masterfully balances blends and ageing to produce wines of extraordinary depth and finesse.

A benchmark for Mediterranean wines, Mas Amiel owes much of its recent acclaim to the vision of Olivier Decelle, who revitalized the estate 25 years ago. Also the owner of Château Jean Faure in Saint-Émilion, Decelle has overseen the creation of a range of wines that exemplify generosity and precision—cuvées on the verge of earning a third star in the RVF Guide.

The 2022 Red Maury Sec is a masterful blend of Grenache Noir, Carignan, and Syrah, sourced from 17 carefully selected parcels on limestone and schist soils. This wine captures the essence of its terroir with purity and focus, showcasing the vibrant character of the vintage. Vinified and aged in concrete tanks to preserve its freshness and precision, it offers a harmonious balance of ripeness and energy. The palate reveals layers of bright, fresh flavours, a supple texture, and a depth that belies its approachable nature.
