Just a few kilometers from the final parcels of Côte-Rôtie, this domaine, established in 2015, has set an uncompromising standard of quality.

Here, biodynamics, permaculture, and agroforestry are fully embraced by Jean-Charles Fournet, a passionate and determined new-generation vigneron working five hectares of vines.

Guided by Pierre-Jean Villa, a close friend and advisor, the wines stand out for their remarkable freshness and tension, impressing both seasoned wine lovers and some of the Rhône’s most revered winemakers. Jean-Michel Gerin, Christine Vernay, Yves Gangloff, and Thierry Germain—enthusiasts from the very beginning—are among the estate’s earliest champions.

A pure Syrah from vines planted in 1971, aged in 500-liter barrels without new oak, the 2023 Red L’Annexe du Devay Vin de France Syrah is a truly remarkable bottle. This wine is all about finesse, capturing the soul of the southern Rhône with both intensity and elegance. The nose unfolds with beautiful aromas of speck and black pepper, while the palate remains just as refined—fresh, subtle, and impeccably balanced.
