The Domaine de la Charbonnière, which has been awarded a star in the French RVF wine guide, is growing in popularity year after year. Prized by lovers of Châteauneuf-du-Pape wines and its surrounding terroirs, this estate has been a resounding success for several years now, thanks to its new generation of owners, the Maret sisters. The 2019 Red Vacqueyras has a beautiful and youthful character, with intense aromas of black fruits, especially blueberries, and a touch of licorice. The palate reveals a full, elegant, generous and balanced wine that will evolve well over the next five to six years. A very nice bottle to enjoy with a veal chop with herbs for example. Rated 92/100 by the Committee.
