Founded in 2016, Côtes et Climats Pierre Mayeul crafts Burgundies with a strong sense of identity and an unwavering commitment to quality. Frédéric Hirault, Matthieu Bouchard, and Ludivine Griveau meticulously select the finest grapes, guided by deep technical expertise and an intimate knowledge of Burgundy’s greatest terroirs.

Distinctive character, limited volumes, and prestigious vineyards—a seemingly simple formula, yet one executed with absolute precision and no compromises. At the heart of this vision is Ludivine Griveau, whose experience and intuition drive the project with the same high standards she has upheld throughout her career.

We were among the first to recognize this boutique-scale, high-precision winemaking project and to secure its rare Burgundies. These wines truly capture the essence of their terroirs and are sure to delight enthusiasts!

The 2021 Red Beaune Premier Cru Les Avaux displays a refined, infused style that beautifully showcases the magic of Pinot Noir, with delicate floral aromas and bright red berry flavors. Shaped by a vintage of moderate intensity, it remains composed and elegant, offering pleasure both through its youthful fruit flavors now and with a few years of aging. It ranks among the vintage’s finest achievements and stands as a highlight for the estate.

From a parcel at the lower part of the village, the 2021 Red Gevrey-Chambertin  delivers a deep, aromatic, and beautifully ripe expression. Dark berry and violet notes are enhanced by a touch of spice, while the subtle oak aging adds depth without overpowering the wine’s purity. With great structure, superb balance, and a long, fresh finish, this is a brilliant reflection of both terroir and vintage.

With exquisite purity, the 2020 Red Vosne-Romanée unveils a beautifully perfumed, fresh, and concentrated expression, shaped by an outstanding vintage. This is a classic Vosne-Romanée, impeccably crafted, with precise aging that enhances its depth without overshadowing its elegance. A wine to cellar for a few more years before enjoying at its peak—perfect alongside a veal dish.
