A jewel of Alsace with 3 stars in the RVF Guide, Domaine Barmès-Buecher consistently impresses with its success and reliability. Perfectionists Maxime Barmès and his sister Sophie craft wines of great character from the terroirs of Wettolsheim, southwest of Colmar. The estate spans 17 hectares, including 3 Grands Crus—Hengst, Pfersigberg, Steingrubler—and high-quality lieux-dits such as Rosenberg.

The vineyard has been biodynamically managed since 1998, and in the cellar, fermentations on lees with indigenous yeasts, followed by long aging, result in wines of the highest caliber, with a straightforward and spontaneous style that is absolutely delightful.
