Wine:
Born from a sun-drenched terroir of Vosges sandstone at an altitude of around 400 meters, the 2020 white Alsace Grand Cru Kessler HW Riesling Élément Feu reveals a unique character. This cuvée, historically vinified separately, is subtle and precise, opening with delicate floral and nuanced mineral notes. The palate is magnificent—powerful and expansive, yet both deep and penetrating—with an exceptional length featuring menthol, saline, and aniseed notes, along with fine mineral bitterness that adds a fascinating energy. A truly grand Riesling, driven by the density of its old vines and the power of its fiery terroir.
