Wine:

Champion of the vintage, the 2020 Red Moulin-à-Vent promises to be a great wine for aging, certainly one of the estate's finest successes. The nose is precise, pure, and bewitching, expressing with delight all the maturity of a Gamay from a great terroir; the fruit dominates, with an insistent touch of coulis and cherry. The palate is concentrated, velvety, and exquisite, with a woody taste in tune with the fruit. Sumptuous! Rated 95/100 by the Committee.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. 1/3 matured in vats and the rest in barrels of 1 to 2 wines as well as some new barrels.

Color:

Dark red with carmine highlights.

Nose:

Pure and precise, marked by aromas of red and black fruits and burlat cherry.

Palate:

Both velvety and concentrated, this wine of great delicacy offers a juice with a promising quality.

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C.

Terrines, game birds, pâté en croute, beef tenderloin, duck au Moulin à Vent, rabbit stew.
