Wine:

Fresh, refined, and full of character, the 2021 Red Pomerol reaches impressive heights this vintage. The nose offers a harmonious blend of red berries, spices, and floral hints, with well-integrated oak that allows the fruit to take center stage. On the palate, it reveals a rich and layered texture with smooth tannins, still showing the elegant influence of its aging in this youthful stage. The wine's balance is outstanding—an energetic and elegant Pomerol that will age gracefully over the next 8 to 10 years. Rated 94/100 by the Selection Committee.

Vinification:

Hand-harvested, traditional vinification with temperature control, aged for 16 months, 1/3 in new barrels, 1/3 in one-wine barrels, and 1/3 wood-free.

Color:

Bright, intense red with carmine undertones.

Nose:

Red berry aromas underscored by floral and spicy notes.

Palate:

Both fresh and full-bodied, this cuvée offers velvety tannins and a balanced, elegant profile, with no overpowering elements—just pure finesse!

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C.

Roasted red meats, beef, lamb, duck, pigeon, boletus risotto, monastic cheeses: aged farmhouse Saint Nectaire.
