Wine:

Made from young Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon vines, Le '2019 Red C de Calon Segur offers a harmonious balance between freshness and finesse, a true invitation to pleasure. In the footsteps of the estate's great wine, which is formulated with the same care, it delivers a much more tender and immediate version. Already accessible, carried by delicate and polished tannins, it constitutes a superb value for money considering its pedigree.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Vinification in thermo-regulated stainless steel truncated cone vats. Vatting for 18 to 21 days at a controlled temperature of 25°C. Aged 14 months in three year old barrels.

Color:

Intense purple red.

Nose:

Delicate aromas of ripe black and red fruits underlined by a finely spiced background.

Palate:

Full-bodied and generous, this wine reveals intense fruit aromas alongside a refined, silky texture. The smooth, well-integrated tannins support a ripe structure, while fresh acidity brings balance and vibrancy to the finish.

Temperature:

Serve at 16 to 18°C.
