Enjoying a deep gravelly soil similar to that of Cos d'Estournel, its illustrious neighbor, Cos Labory is a discreet Grand Cru Classé, not as well known as its peers, but just as attractive and qualitative in its wines, if not more so. In the last vintages, it has even produced great successes that are difficult to separate from the tenors of the appellation.

This property, which has remained in the family and is run by Bernard Audoy, deserves a close look, as it is without doubt the best value for money of the 1855 Médoc Grands Crus Classés.

For some time now, this wine has been experiencing a renewed interest from enthusiasts around the globe, especially at the time of the En-Primeurs wine campaign, when its price is always attracting more and more professional wine lovers. Still contained at an extremely reasonable price level with regard to its classification, it is a true bargain for such quality.
