The 2019 Pauillac de Château Latour is both bold and expressive, offering great volume and, above all, a deliciously savory character. It’s the epitome of a classic and noble Pauillac, especially from such an outstanding vintage. With its velvety texture, this wine reflects the excellence of the estate, delivering a Pauillac that will appeal to true connoisseurs. A superb wine, built to last a decade. Rated 93/100 by RVF.Vinification:
Hand-harvested, with parcels located in the southwest of the Pauillac appellation on the "Saint Anne" terroir, featuring 25-year-old vines, along with younger vines from the Enclos that are not yet mature enough for the Grand Vin blend. The grapes undergo destemming and crushing, followed by a 3-week fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation and aging take place in French oak barrels, about 20% new.The entire Château Latour vineyard has been transitioning to organic farming, certified by Ecocert since the 2018 vintage. In parallel, biodynamic principles are applied to most of the Enclos.

Château Latour is one of Bordeaux’s most iconic and prestigious estates. With decades of unwavering quality, and guided by the expert hand of Frédéric Engerer, this 1er Grand Cru Classé from the Médoc—rated 4 stars by the RVF—consistently pushes the boundaries of refinement and excellence.
Even in challenging vintages, Latour delivers. It captures the essence of great Pauillac: rich, full, and layered, with a bouquet that becomes more complex and distinguished over time. The complete renovation of the cellars, stricter selection process, and the estate’s shift to biodynamic farming have only enhanced its already exceptional wines, setting them apart from anything else.
