Spectacular and captivating from its youth, Monbousquet produces wines that are ample, ambitious, and expressive. Owned by Gérard Perse since 1993, the cru is managed by the same team as Château Pavie. Each year, nearly all of the production is shipped to the United States, where the wine's voluptuousness is highly acclaimed. Indeed, the wine consistently shines with great smoothness, generous fruit volume, finesse, and length.
This is undoubtedly why the renowned American critic Robert Parker declares: "Every Monbousquet produced under Gérard Perse's guidance is exceptional. At present, this cru is probably the most exotic and sensual Saint-Émilion, if not Bordeaux."
Do not hesitate to enjoy the 2023 vintage! A must-have from Saint-Émilion.
