With one of the best terroirs in Pomerol spanning 32 hectares, Château Nénin has been owned by the Delon family, the esteemed proprietors of Château Léoville Las Cases, a cru classé of Saint-Julien, since 1997.
Always betting on gems, the Delon family excels at revealing terroirs, and here they achieve perfection. Much less demonstrative than its peers, Nénin is a wine built for aging, with a slow construction. The palate is pulpy and velvety, garnering admiration. The floral and spicy finish, along with precise tannins, are distinctive attributes.
The 2023 vintage surpasses its category and competes with the greats: pure and sensual, with an excellent core of fruity notes and pulpy tannins, it promises a very long aging potential. With ravishing charm, it will undoubtedly be one of the standout vintages of the Château. A phenomenal rise in quality.
