We'll have to count on him again for the 2023 vintage! All the more so as Domaine de Chevalier, in addition to its outstanding consistency, has one of the most eloquent ageing capacities in Bordeaux...
Sailing from year to year between the top and the very top, each time securing a place in the leading pack of the Pessac appellation, this cru is a sure bet that delights us every time.
Regularly distinguishing itself at tastings, and particularly since its birth, during the Primeurs, the cru impresses again with this 2023 vintage, rated 95/100 by Olivier Poussier, and 94-96/100 by Parker.
Without being overly generous or powerful, this cru excels in a charming register, seducing with its tactile charm and sparingly extracted structure. Perfumed and charming, it unfurls smoothly, without hollows or hesitation, but with persistent flavor and elegance. In addition, the taut vigor of the Cabernet Sauvignon (63% of the blend) structures the wine and gives it a remarkable dynamic.
This is a Chevalier for aging. Pure refinement and class. Once again unmissable!
